: The forecast is for slightly lighter winds today compared to Saturday. We're expecing 8 to 9 knot Southerlies this afternoon.

: With a win on the board in yesterday's second race, ORACLE TEAM USA has broken the goose egg. Both of Saturday's races were close, and "17", the team's America's Cup Class yacht, is clearly faster after the improvements made earlier in the week.

“It was five very long days, but the good thing is we’ve been able to reward the entire shore crew with a win," skipper Jimmy Spithill said after racing Saturday.

"We now have confidence in the tool we have, which is the most important thing. It does remind me of San Francisco, when, once the guys can see that the boat is faster, then you start building some momentum."
